Vision

Beit Al Liqa’ (literally translated: House of Meeting) seeks to welcome people into an atmosphere of love and peace.

Our motto is: A place to meet the living God

Our house is a place of fellowship where God’s Word is at the heart and where people are called to follow Jesus Christ. It seeks to be a house where God lives. Its foundation was laid in 2001, a time of political turmoil. Back then Johnny Shahwan, founder and head of Beit Al Liqa’ put his motivation into words: “Even if houses are bombed on the other side of town, we still get to work and build a house for the glory of God!”

Our goals:

• We teach children about peace by sharing the Word of God even with our youngest ones.

• We provide guidance to young people as they grow up and help them to become followers of Jesus Christ

• We share our lives with people and try to meet their needs, help them tackle problems and find answers to their questions
