Most of our youngsters have grown into young adults. Some have gone abroad for their studies, others pursue study programmes at the universities in Bethlehem and near Ramallah. With some of them we had had our doubts whether they would ever grow up, but these past few months we have seen remarkable growth among them. Especially among more than a dozen young people most of whom have been regulars at Beit Al Liqa’ since childhood. They almost spend every free minute at our centre, look in on various events and programmes going on at the time, lend a hand with practical work, hang out with their mates and chat with Elias, their youth leader. Mostly their not-so- rarely hour-long conversations are about faith but also about personal issues...
